In the adult brain, ScerGAL4^c561 drives expression in the regions around the mushroom body, in the lateral snow-drop shaped structures (SD) in the lateral protocerebrum, in the axons of vertical cells of lobula plate (AVCLP), in the thoracico-abdominal ganglion and in the wing nerves.

Adult expression is observed in the R1 neuron of the ellipsoid body neuron.
