A set of transgenic insertion stocks derived by TE mobilization using the P-element construct P{GT1}; created and vetted by the Gene Disruption Project (GDP). The P{GT1} construct is described as a dual-tagged gene trap (FBrf0132344):it carries (1) w[+mGT1] mini-white marker, designed to confer a pigmented eye phenotype only if the construct is inserted within a host gene, and (2) a promoter-less Ser\GAL4 gene which is expressed if it is produced as a fusion with the mRNA produced by the host gene. The construct also carries a Tn\neoR selectable marker (FBrf0132344).

Heterozygosity for both Pka-C1[BG02142] and Df(1)Exel9051 results in a significant reduction in neuromuscular junction (NMJ) synaptic bouton numbers, compared with either single mutant or wild-type.
Pka-C1[BG02142] is homozygous lethal.
