A set of transgenic insertion stocks derived by TE mobilization using the P-element construct P{SUPor-P}; created and vetted by the Gene Disruption Project (GDP). The P{SUPor-P} construct carries two visible markers: a w[+mC] mini-white marker flanked by su(Hw)-binding sites, designed to reduce the variablity of the phenotype of the white gene marker due position effects, in addition to the mini-yellow marker y[+mDint2].

Reference
~50% of homozygous males show incomplete genitalia rotation, though the direction of rotation is wild type. The spermiduct does not coil around the gut in these mutants, as it does in wild type. ~75% of Uvrag[KG04163]/Uvrag[B7] or Uvrag[KG04163]/Uvrag[B21] males show incomplete genitalia rotation, though the direction of rotation is wild type.
The presence of Scer\GAL4[Abd-B-LDN] enhances the Uvrag[KG04163]/Uvrag[B21] male genital rotation phenotype, though the reason for this is unknown. Expression of N[dsRNA.P.Scer\UAS] or mam[N.Scer\UAS] using Scer\GAL4[Abd-B-LDN] partially rescues the genital rotation defect in Uvrag[KG04163]/Uvrag[B21] males.
