Location 2R:11850935-11850936 confirmed by FlyBase alignment of dbGSS accession BH854641 to D. melanogaster arm Release_4 and heterochromatin Release_3.2b. Insertion orientation revised.
Although originally reported (FBrf0132177) to be homozygous viable, the chromosome bearing P{SUPor-P}Vha44KG07119 is in fact homozygous lethal. Whether lethality of this chromosome is caused by the insertion, or a lesion elsewhere on the chromosome
