Reference
pch2[EY01788a]/Df(3R)p-XT103 females show a normal distribution and frequency of X-chromosome crossing over. The frequency of region 3 cysts with two pro-oocytes (as assayed by c(3)G staining) in pch2[EY01788a] females is not significantly different from that seen in wild-type females.
The high frequency of region 3 cysts containing two pro-oocytes that is seen in hdm[g7], mei-9[A2] or okr[WS] homozygous females is suppressed by pch2[EY01788a]. pch2[EY01788a] enhances the increased X chromosome non-disjunction phenotype seen in hdm[g7] females.
