In embryos, Avic\GFP[Lac-G00044] drives expression in exit, peripheral and channel glia. At the nerve roots, expression seems to surround the axons. The cell bodies labelled by Avic\GFP[Lac-G00044] are predominantly found in the ventral half of the ventral nerve cord.
