Description
What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

hide Detailed Description
Statement
Reference
Homozygous larvae are thinner and shorter than control larvae at 4 days after egg laying. Homozygous second-third instar larvae show impaired motor function, showing a smaller distance travelled in the 20 seconds after movement was stimulated with a needle than control larvae.
3% of homozygotes survive as adult escapers. Smn[f05960]/Smn[f01109] third instar larvae do not show a change in bouton number per muscle area at the neuromuscular junction compared to wild type.
