Detailed Description
Statement Reference Mnn1^Δ79 and Mnn1^Δ46/Mnn1^Δ79 males show a constant rate of early mortality in days 1-30. These flies also appear to be slightly more resistant to the herbicide paraquat, although this is in contrast to previous reports of other Mnn1 mutants showing increased sensitivity to paraquat. (Cerrato et al., 2006) Scer\GAL4^how-24B>kay^{bZip.Scer\UAS} expression in a Mnn1^Δ46/Mnn1^Δ79 background results in pre-pupal lethality. (Cerrato et al., 2006)
