A set of transgenic insertion stocks derived by TE mobilization using the P-element construct P{GT1}; created and vetted by the Gene Disruption Project (GDP). The P{GT1} construct is described as a dual-tagged gene trap (FBrf0132344):it carries (1) w[+mGT1] mini-white marker, designed to confer a pigmented eye phenotype only if the construct is inserted within a host gene, and (2) a promoter-less Ser\GAL4 gene which is expressed if it is produced as a fusion with the mRNA produced by the host gene. The construct also carries a Tn\neoR selectable marker (FBrf0132344).

Description
What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

noc[BG01916] homozygous males have significantly increased levels of aggression. (P < 0.01; Male aggression index = 13.65).
Both male and female noc[BG01916] mutants have reduced glycogen levels compared to controls. noc[BG01916] mutant females have reduced triglyceride levels compared to wild type controls. No change is seen in males.
