Drives expression most segregating embryonic neuroblasts and their progeny, but not in the neurectoderm; in neuroblasts of the larval optic lobe, central brain, and ventral nerve cord, but not the neuroepithelial cells of the outer optic anlage (OPC).

Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407 drives expression in proximal parts of neuroblast lineages up to and including young Kenyon cells, but not mature Kenyon cells. Expression overlaps with dpn positive mushroom body neuroblasts and Rx positive ganglion mother cells and young Kenyon cells and with dac in some Kenyon cells at the late third instar larval stage.

Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407 drives expression in neuroblasts of the larval optic lobe, central brain, and ventral nerve cord, but not the neuroepithelial cells of the outer optic anlage (OPC).

Expression is observed throughout the nervous system during embryogenesis, but ceases after hatching.

In embryo, expressed in most segregated neuroblasts and their progeny, but not in the neurectoderm.

In embryo, expressed in many segregating neuroblasts and their progeny; is not expressed in the ventral midline.
