Additional Information
Statement Reference Ecol\lacZ mRNA detected in both premeiotic and postmeiotic cells; βgal staining observed only in postmeiotic cells. Since the larval testis contains only premeiotic cells, expression is observed only in the case of the RNA in situ, not in the case of βgal staining. (Santel et al., 1997)
