FlyBase Recombinant Construct Report: P{Lim3.tau-myc.T}

Lim3^{T:BtauMAPT,T:HsapMYC} drives expression in a subset of ventral motor neurons which exit the ventral nerve cord via the ISNb nerve branch. There is co-expression with Oli protein.

Studies using reporter constructs indicate that Lim3 expressing cells include a subset of interneurons and motor neurons, including motor neurons RP1, RP3, RP4, RP5, the contralateral V motor neuron which innervates muscle 12, and MN28 and MN14/30 which innervate muscles 28 and 14 plus 30, respectively.
