Molecular data	Construct: 80bp corresponding to e(y)1 amino acids 255 to 278 have been replaced by 91bp of the Stalker long terminal repeat (LTR) starting from the 3'-terminal nucleotide of Stalker. This produces a chimeric protein in which the 25 carboxyl amino acids of e(y)1 have been replaced with 17 amino acids encoded by Stalker sequence (this is the same protein as that produced in the e(y)1¹ mutant). (Soldatov et al., 1999)
