Molecular data
Construct: The minimal P\T promoter and first intron are fused upstream of an Scer\GAL4 deletion variant "II-9", which contains both the amino-terminal DNA-binding domain and the carboxy-terminal activation domain. This variant of Scer\GAL4 protein is almost as good an activator as the wild-type Scer\GAL4, but is supposed to be more stable. fs(1)K10 3' untranslated region sequences are also present.
