Description

Transgenic construct used to study insulator function. Contains the y transcription unit, including the wing and body enhancers. A genomic D. melanogaster fragment ('2L-103') which contains three su(Hw) protein binding sites has been inserted between the wing and body enhancers and the y promoter.
