P{(FRT.w3xP3.MtnBΔATG.Scer\SceI.RS)} is a donor template for targeted knockout of MtnB by ends-in homologous targeting. The vector also contains a Crei\I-CreI.RS site (recognised by the enzyme Crei\I-CreI) which can allow reduction of the target locus duplication produced by the first homologous recombination event to a single copy.
