Drives expression in the sugar-responsive neuron of all of the short, intermediate and long taste sensilla of the labellum.

Scer\GAL4Gr64f.9.7 drives expression in sweet taste receptor neurons in the labellar taste hairs, and in about 12 sugar-sensing chemosensory neurons in the prothoracic leg. A subset of the leg neurons project to the ventral nerve cord then ascend through the cervical connective to the posterior gnathal gangion; these neurons, unlike the other Scer\GAL4Gr64f.9.7-expression neurons, do not coexpress Scer\GAL4Gr5a.8.5 or Ecol\lexAVP16.Gr5a.cGa

All labellar and many of the tarsal S cells expressing Scer\GAL4Gr64f.9.7 send projections to the adult subesophageal zone.

Scer\GAL4Gr64f.9.7 is strongly expressed in the sugar-responsive neuron of all of the short, intermediate and long taste sensilla of the labellum.

Scer\GAL4Gr64f.9.7 is expressed in all the sugar-sensitive receptor neurons of the gustatory sensilla of the labellum.
