Breakpoint(s) molecularly mapped

Left breakpoint about 100 kilobases to the left of the proximal breakpoint of In(3R)Hu on DNA map of Garber et al., 1983, or 138 kilobases distal to the left-most breakpoint of Tp(3;3)Dfdrv3 (Scott et al., 1983).

Comments on Cytology

Left limit of break 1 from polytene analysis (FBrf0034841) Right limit of break 1 from complementation mapping against Antp (FBrf0039012) Limits of break 2 from polytene analysis (FBrf0034841)

    Other Comments

The wing positioning defects in In(3R)AntpB flies were previously attributed to an effect on Antp (FBrf0107412 and FBrf0155711), however, FBrf0204343 demonstrates that these phenotypes are instead due to an effect on Glut4EF, which is also disrupted by the In(3R)AntpB chromosome.
