    In combination with other aberrations

    Testes from Dp(3;2)ry+; Df(3R)kar5l males heterozygous with wrl1 exhibit defects in axoneme structure identical to wrl1 homozygotes and are sterile. Heterozygotes with wild type exhibit an identical testis phenotype so are also sterile as the seminal vesicles contain only a few motile sperm. Haploinsufficient for male fertility; ╬▓Tub85Dn dominantly suppresses this sterility.
