The left end of the deleted segment in Df(1)sc-J4 is shown as release 6 coordinate X:1 , because Df(1)sc-J4 is a terminal deletion created by the replacement of the left end of the X chromosome by the left end of the third chromosome.

The X:2447769..2490289 release 6 coordinates of the right breakpoint are estimates. The left extent corresponds to the left end of z, which published results say is deleted. The right extent corresponds to the estimated position of the left end of polytene band 3A4, which the published cytologies indicate is not deleted.
