Drives expression in a subset of embryonic motor neurons and their precursors, including aCC, pCC, RP2/RP2sib, and dMP2/vMP2 neurons, but not neurons of the EL or U lineages; as well as in some pioneer neurons, glioblasts, and many lateral and follower neurons. In the adult brain, drives expression in ring neuron R4, but not in other ring neurons.

ScerGAL4ftz.ng drives embryonic expression in aCC, pCC, RP2/RP2sib, dMP2/vMP2 neurons, but not in U or EL lineages.

In embryonic CNS, expressed in pioneer neurons, glioblasts, and many lateral and follower neurons.

Expression in a subset of motor neurons; not in PNS.
