Tudor-SN protein is detected throughout development on western blots with the highest levels in embryos, ovary, and testis. It localizes to the cytoplasm of both germline and somatic cells in the germarium and developing egg chambers. It is also found in the cytoplasm of germline and somatic cells in the testis.
