As part of a survey of ciliary motility gene homologs in Drosophila, expression of Rsph3 was assayed in motile ciliated cell types. Expression was observed in both chordotonal neurons and testis (sperm). Rsph3 is highly expressed in both ciliated cell types, chordotonal neurons and sperm.
