      Special properties: This isolate of Kc cells was cloned in the laboratory of J. D. O'Connor around 1980. It secretes an unusually large amount of extracellular matrix and has been used in the Fessler and Bunch laboratories as a source of extracellular matrix material for biochemical characterization. It can be grown easily in spinner flasks.
