| Definition |
Small, late-dividing mitotic domain located in the presumptive head, between mitotic domains 2, 5, and 9. When the first domains are entering mitosis, mitotic domain 24 is located on the lip of the cephalic fold, but by the time the cells of this domain divide, the opening of the cephalic fold has repositioned mitotic domain 24 further forwards.[ FlyBase:FBrf0049535 ] |
