Definition Tract that forms part of the larval cervical connective (Nassif et al., 1998; Hartenstein et al., 2015). It is pioneered by axons from the deutocerebral/tritocerebral cluster during embryonic development (Nassif et al., 1998). Axons that project ventrally fasciculate with the incoming maxillary pCC axon and pioneer the ventral part of the tract (Nassif et al., 1998).
