Term adult ventral oenocyte band ID (Ontology) FBbt:00003202 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Cluster of oenocytes spanning the ventral midline of the adult abdomen, interior to an abdominal sternite (Miller, 1950). There is one of these in each of abdominal segments 2-6 in females and 2-5 in males (Miller, 1950). It lies beneath, and may envelop, the ventral longitudinal muscles (Miller, 1950).[ FlyBase:FBrf0007735 ]
