| Term |
proximal medullary amacrine neuron Pm1a |
ID (Ontology) |
FBbt:00003834 (Fly Anatomy) |
| Definition |
Proximal medullary amacrine neuron that enters the proximal surface of the medulla without branching and forms a broad terminal arbor with mixed morphology terminals mainly in medulla layer M9 (Fischbach and Dittrich, 1989).[ FlyBase:FBrf0049410 ] |
| Also Known As |
"Pm07" ; "Pm1a" ; "Pm8" |
| Comment |
The neurotransmitter was assessed by co-labelling cells with a Cha-GAL4.7.4 driver (FBtp0014830) and an anti-ChAT antibody (Varija Raghu et al., 2011 - FBrf0212356), though see comment on Pm1. Pre- versus postsynaptic innervation judged by scoring of terminal morphology from figures in Fischbach and Dittrich (1989) as assessed by FlyBrain Neuron DB. |
