Definition A lobula tangential neuron that branches in lobula layer 6 to form linking fibers that arborize in lobula layers 2 and 3. The combined arbor covers the length of these layers. There is only a single neuron of this class per optic lobe. Its cell body is located in the dorsal area of the lateral cell body region.[ FlyBase:FBrf0049410 ]
