ID (Ontology) |

| Definition |
Adult interneuron with its soma in the cell body rind of the mushroom body calyx and a primary neurite that extends ventrally then splits into three branches (Nayak and Singh, 1985). The first branch extends back into the direction of the soma, giving out small collateral arborizations (Nayak and Singh, 1985). The second branch extends to the anterodorsal subesophageal zone and branches profusely, in a similar region to the type B interneurons (Nayak and Singh, 1985). The third branch projects posteriorly and enters the cervical connective (Nayak and Singh, 1985).[ FlyBase:FBrf0042883 ] |
