| Definition |
Humeral crossvein campaniform sensillum located on the dorsal side of the wing. It is situated close to the ventral humeral crossvein campaniform sensillum separated by the intermediate portion of the costal nerve (Murray et al., 1984). It is circular with a high profile and with a socket which is prominent on one side but becomes indistinct on the other.
