| Definition |
Humeral crossvein campaniform sensillum located on the ventral side of the wing. It is situated close to the dorsal humeral crossvein campaniform sensillum separated by the intermediate portion of the costal nerve (Murray et al., 1984). It is a large circular sensillum which bears a socket that is tightly fused to the dome and diminishes on one side.
