Term mesothoracic postnotum ID (Ontology) FBbt:00004588 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition The most posterior part of the mesothoracic tergum (Ferris, 1950). It lies partially under the scutellum with just a small crescent posterior to the scutellum visible from above (Ferris, 1950). It forms a deep phragma that projects into the thorax (Ferris, 1950).
