Term testicular duct ID (Ontology) FBbt:00004957 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Duct connecting the testis and the seminal vesicles in the adult male genitalia. It is 80 micrometers long and 23 micrometers in diameter, making a single spiral turn. It has a narrow lumen, surrounded by a thick epithelium containing small, closely spaced nuclei. It is covered in an inner sheath and an outer pigment sheath, as in the seminal vesicles.[ FlyBase:FBrf0007735 ]
