Pupa from when the yellow body appears between the anterior ends of the two Malpighian tubule segments, mid-dorsally at the anterior of the abdomen (Bainbridge and Bownes, 1981). The yellow body moves back between the Malpighian tubules and this stage ends when the eye cup becomes yellow at its perimeter (Bainbridge and Bownes, 1981).[ FlyBase:FBrf0036849 ] |
