| Definition |
Cardioblast which is the precursor of cardial cells of the aorta in the anterior dorsal vessel. These cells become distinct from heart cardioblasts during stage 14: they remain small and cuboidal while the heart cardioblasts enlarge and elongate to become columnar.[ FlyBase:FBrf0151925 ] |
