General Information
|
| Term |
dorsal domain of larval tritocerebrum |
ID (Ontology) |
FBbt:00007719 (Fly Anatomy) |
| Definition |
Neuropil region where the larval tritocerebrum intersects with the dorsomedial and dorsolateral longitudinal domains of the central nervous system (Hartenstein et al., 2018). Due to the changed topology of longitudinal tracts and commissures in the tritocerebrum compared to more posterior neuromeres, it is difficult to clearly discern a boundary between the dorsomedial and dorsolateral domains (Hartenstein et al., 2018).[ FlyBase:FBrf0237252 ] |
