ID (Ontology) |

| Definition |
Myoinhibitory peptide (Mip)-expressing neuron of the adult female that has its soma in a relatively ventral and medial location in the anterior abdominal neuromere (Jang et al., 2017). There are one or two of these cells per hemisphere in the female and there is no male equivalent (Jang et al., 2017). | Also Known As |
"vAM neuron" ; "ventral abdominal medial neuron" ; "ventral anterior medial neuron of the AG" |
| Comment |
Not labelled by Mip antibody (Jang et al., 2017). AVAG cluster in Min et al. (2016) - FBrf0231362 includes this (vAM) and Mip-immunopositive vAL in Jiang et al. (2017). |
