Term antennal lobe local neuron 3 ID (Ontology) FBbt:00047706 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Local interneuron of the adult antennal lobe (AL). From a cell body located on the ventral surface of the AL, it projects to the AL hub, from which it innervates most of the glomeruli. One branch crosses the midline via the AL commissure, reaching the contralateral AL. Similar to the type A local neuron (LN1), its terminal arbors do not form glomerular shapes (Tanaka et al., 2012).[ FlyBase:FBrf0219809 ]
