Definition Larval VUM neuron of the labial cluster that densely innervates the subesophageal ganglion and the posterior basolateral and basomedial protocerebrum. One axon per side extends, close to the midline, to the third thoracic neuromere and then follows a more lateral path to ramify in the third thoracic neuromere and all abdominal neuromeres (Selcho et al., 2014).[ FlyBase:FBrf0225919 ]
