General Information
Term larval pre-Swallowtail1 neuron ID (Ontology) FBbt:00047816 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Larval interneuron that has a cell body in the subesophageal ganglion and is downstream of Wave neurons in larval motor circuits (Takagi et al., 2017).[ FlyBase:FBrf0237618 ]
Also Known As "pre-Swallowtail1 (SEZ)"
Comment In an L1 CNS EM volume, approximately 5 percent of pre-Swallowtail1 postsynapses are occupied by the abdominal 1 Wave neuron (Takagi et al., 2017). Unclear whether this neuron is segmentally repeated.
