Neuron of the Johnston organ that has presynaptic termini in subregions AP and AV2 of AMMC zone A only (Kamikouchi et al., 2006). These are probably the most numerous of the two region-innervating zone A Johnston organ neurons (Ishikawa et al., 2017).
