Definition Main ventral commissure of the larval brain. It is a massive fiber tract that runs through the ventromedial cerebrum, ventral to the fan-shaped body primordium (Pereanu et al., 2010). It runs the full width of the central brain and contains many other fibers that connect different neuropils (Hartenstein et al., 2015).
