Larval neuron with postsynaptic terminals in the anterior and posterior superior medial protocerebrum (dorsoanterior and dorsoposterior compartments) and presynaptic terminals in the mushroom body lower pedunculus (spur region) (Saumweber et al., 2018). It develops from the CP3 (DL2) neuroblast late in embryogenesis and becomes a PPL101 (MB-MP1) neuron during metamorphosis (Saumweber et al., 2018; Truman et al., 2023).[ FlyBase:FBrf0238440 FlyBase:FBrf0255928 ] |
