General Information
Term larval mushroom body output neuron p1 ID (Ontology) FBbt:00047970 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Larval neuron that has presynapses in the basoposterior medial compartment (ventromedial cerebrum) and postsynapses in the mushroom body lateral appendix, centroposterior intermediate compartment (clamp), dorsoposterior compartment (posterior superior medial protocerebrum) and dorsoanterior compartment (anterior superior medial protocerebrum) (Saumweber et al., 2018). In the first instar, it additionally innervates the intermediate (V2) region of the mushroom body vertical lobe (Eichler et al., 2017). It develops from a DALcm neuroblast (Saumweber et al., 2018).
