Definition Unpaired dopaminergic neuron whose cell body is located anterior to the dopaminergic VUM neuron in the ventral gnathal ganglion of the adult brain. It arborizes in a similar pattern to the dopaminergic VUM neuron in the subesophageal zone, but it also extends beyond this region (Marella et al., 2012).[ FlyBase:FBrf0217751 ]
