Definition Mechanosensory neuron of the adult that innervates a scolopidium of a chordotonal organ in the leg and ascends to the brain. Different neurons reach different destinations, such as the gnathal ganglion, wedge and anterior ventrolateral protocerebrum.[ FlyBase:FBrf0237124 ]
