| Term | larval serotonergic SE0 neuron of enteric nervous system | ID (Ontology) | FBbt:00048504 (Fly Anatomy) |
| Definition | Larval SE0 neuron that projects posteriorly to the enteric nervous system via the recurrent nerve (Miroschnikow et al., 2018). It receives synaptic input from sensory neurons in the anterior AV compartment of the subesophageal ganglion (Miroschnikow et al., 2018). It innervates the prothoracic gland and the proventriculus (Shimada-Niwa and Niwa, 2014). There are three of these neurons per hemisphere (Miroschnikow et al., 2018).[ FlyBase:FBrf0227138 FlyBase:FBrf0240975 ] | ||
