Term larval medial equatorial fascicle ID (Ontology) FBbt:00049262 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Thick fascicle of the larval brain that runs medial and parallel to the mushroom body pedunculus (Hartenstein et al., 2015). It is formed by dorsal components of the CM1/3/4 lineages and the DPMpl3 lineage (Hartenstein et al., 2015). It extends anteriorly into the inferior protocerebrum and has branches extending to the fan-shaped body primordium, the great commissure and the lateral accessory lobe (Hartenstein et al., 2015).[ FlyBase:FBrf0229672 ]
