General Information
Term adult lateral horn AV2a1 neuron ID (Ontology) FBbt:00049337 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult lateral horn output neuron of the AV2a1 group that fasciculates with the AV2 primary neurite tract (Dolan et al., 2019). It is GABAergic (Dolan et al., 2019). There are around three of these cells per hemisphere (Schlegel et al., 2021).[ FlyBase:FBrf0242477 FlyBase:FBrf0249560 ]

Comment Dolan et al. (2019) say this is GABAergic, with some cells additionally cholinergic, based on antibody staining, Schlegel et al. (2021) predict cholinergic based on hemilineage.
